It's well-designed, and works nicely in the background providing push notifications and near real-time updates, along with live tiles in the start menu. I'm a huge fan of the work Nylas is doing simply because their sync engine is so damn good.Īll of this said, I'm also finding myself to be a fan of the built-in Windows 10 mail app. It's finally on Windows and provides a super-snappy way to access whatever email service you use, with full search and a bunch of nifty other features. On the Windows side it was always a little awful, but life is getting better thanks to Nylas. If there's anything macOS has a glut of, it's mail apps that look good. I wish Microsoft would just bundle this behavior right in. Seer makes life a lot easier, bringing back the space-button preview, and making it work well inside Windows. One of my annoyances about Windows is that there's no universal 'Preview' style app that lets you open a large range of files quickly. SeerĪnother one of my reflexes is slamming the space key to see inside a file, rather than opening it. This app has been around forever - and works on Mac too - but as a religious CMD + SHIFT + 4 user on Mac, this was perfect for replacing that reflex (I even mapped the same shortcut to work inside Windows, so I can just keep doing it). If you want to annotate, add text or even just copy to your clipboard rather than saving a file every time you make a screenshot this app is for you. Windows has built-in region capturing now, but Lightshot takes it to the next level. In general, I've been impressed with the state of Windows apps - it seems like they've come a long way in recent times, and I've found a number of tools that have enhanced my workflow in a big way. Li'l Jamiera Cat has a faster attack rate (57f 1.9s > 67f 2.23s).Over the last few weeks I've been writing about my shift to Windows from Mac after five years of using a MacBook, and many of you have written to ask what apps I use to replace various Mac-only tools.the exact same stats as his Normal counterpart. Li'l Island Cat has higher Critical Hit chance (5% > 2%).Li'l Flying Cat is strong against and permanently kills Zombie enemies instead of being able to weaken Angel enemies.Li'l Lion Cat is immune to Wave Attacks.Li'l Macho Legs Cat can break Barriers and has a chance to knockback Alien enemies as opposed to being strong against them.Li'l Dark Cat is strong against Angels instead of Reds.Li'l Mohawk Cat is the cheapest unit in the game, costing a mere 45¢ to deploy at a longer cooldown. However, most of them gain unique perks which can give them an edge over the Normal/Crazed equivalents in some scenarios, and can all further diverge via Talents. The Li'l True Forms' stats range from moderately weaker to exactly the same as those of their Normal counterparts, but they still become outclassed by the Normal and Crazed Cats. Each Li'l Stage appears the day before the corresponding Crazed Stage: for example, Li'l Cat Awakens! appears on the 2nd of every month, the day before The Crazed Cat and Cat Maniac. Similar to the Crazed Cats, Li'l Cats' True Forms are unlocked by clearing their own Awakening Stages, called Li'l Stages. They are based on the nine Normal Cats obtained at the start of the game, but unlike the Crazed Cats, Li'l Cats are far weaker than their Normal counterparts, giving them very little use outside of Restriction Stages that don't allow Normal and Super Rare units. Li'l Cats are Special Cats that can be unlocked by playing the Event Capsule, except during certain collaboration events.
